President Obama’s Favorite City Is Asheville For A Reason

President Obama and his family recently went to the beautiful city of Asheville, NC for a short vacation and absolutely loved it. There are many great reasons why. Asheville is located on the edge of the Appalachian Mountains and is a town that is full of art and beauty. There are more than 20 art galleries, and the town boasts some of the best restaurants in the country. It is very close to the famous Blue Ridge Parkway and connects to the Great Smokey Mountain National Park. There is also the Shenandoah National Park, which makes it a great area for everyone in the family to go bicycle riding, hiking, rafting, and even horseback riding. Asheville also has wonderful outdoor markets to buy seasonal fruits and vegetables.

Many people love to visit Asheville to see the beautiful biltmore estate. This home is one of the largest homes in the United States and has more than 250 rooms. It also has breathtaking gardens that are a century old. The estate has 8,000 acres. It is also possible to stay at the four-star inn that is located on the Biltmore Estate. This luxurious estate is breathtaking and is often decorated during different holidays and times of the seasons.

The fall in the mountains of Asheville is beautiful. The trees are in a beautiful of array of colors from orange, yellow, and red. There is also lots of shopping that can be done in the town as well as art museums and night life. For those that want to be pampered, there are numerous spas. Asheville also has a wonderful downtown area that is full of funky stores and restaurants. Asheville truly has something for the entire family. It’s no wonder that this beautiful North Carolina mountain town is the Obama’s favorite city.
